Energy Professionals Hiring Event by Career Advancement Network:

Includes access to the Energy Professionals Hiring Event by Career Advancement Network Event on Wednesday, 19 August, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Upon registration you will receive an email with instructions for participation in this event.  Your registration does not include any activities or other events during the convention and exhibition.

Before registering for the Hiring Event please review the questions below to verify that you qualify for registration.

  • Are you an experienced Professional (ie.. not an under graduated student)?
  • Do you have a 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering or applied sciences?
  • Do you have a 4-year non-sciences/non-engineering degree AND technical experience in the energy sector?
  • Do you have a 2-year degree in science or engineering AND technical experience in the energy sector?

If you answered yes to any of the questions you qualify for the event and should proceed with registration. If you answered no to ALL 4 questions you do not qualify and should not register.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations can be made by contacting IMAGE Registration Support by email or telephone at +1 918 584 2555 by 4 August.
  • Cancellations received on or before 17 July will be fully refunded, including fees for postconvention workshops, field trip(s), luncheon(s) and/or short course(s).
  • Cancellations received between 18 July and 4 August will be refunded registration fees less a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for postconvention workshops, field trip(s), luncheon(s) and/or short course(s) after 17 July.
  • No refunds will be issued after 4 August or for “no shows”.
  • You may substitute one participant for another.

  • SEG (Society of Exploration Geophysicists)
  • SEPM (Society for Sedimentary Geology)

**Non-Geo Guests may attend the convention as a Guest of a convention registrant. The guest may not be a member of any of the listed associations or a professional in the industry.

Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed in the exhibit hall during setup or teardown. Children 13 and older will be allowed to attend the exhibition during regular exhibition hours if they are properly registered, wearing their badge and accompanied by an adult. During exhibition hours, children under the age of 13 will not be allowed into any activities within the exhibit hall unless they are young enough to be confined to a stroller, backpack or front pack.

By registering for the International Meeting for Applied Geoscience and Energy (IMAGE), I release and agree to indemnify IMAGE Management as well as the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and agents, officers, and employees of each, from all liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained by me while involved in any way with the Convention and Exhibition except that each of IMAGE Management, AAPG and SEG is not released from such liability to the extent the same is caused by its actual negligence or willful misconduct. I have read and understand this waiver and release.

Photography: Attendee understands that general photographs of the event will be taken by the Organizers and others authorized by the Organizers for promotional purposes. Attendee authorizes without charge or cost, and has the authority to do so, the reproduction and use in any manner by the Organizers and others authorized by the Organizers of any trademarks, logos, or similar marks or designs owned, controlled, or used by Attendee insofar as the same are included in such general promotional photographs.
