2025 AAPG Foundation Trustee Associates Meeting

Friends, colleagues, and Associates of the AAPG Foundation Trustees:

Please make plans to attend this year's Trustee Associates annual meeting at the Grand Galvez in Galveston, Texas.

Galveston is home to some of the best attractions Texas has to offer, including Moody Gardens, the historic Pleasure Pier, 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA, and 32 miles of beaches. Galveston also offers an abundance of museums, including the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig & Museum and The Bryan Museum. The weather should be perfect in April to enjoy everything the Island has to offer.

Spend a day at the beach attending our field trip: Texas Coastal Processes, led by Erik Scott – adjunct professor at Rice University and principal geologist at E&P Geoscience.

At your leisure, you can explore other Island attractions: Moody Gardens with options to Rainforest Pyramid, Aquarium Pyramid and Discovery Museum; harbor tour and dolphin watch; 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA – one of the only three ships of her kind to still actively sail; and trolley trips around the island to learn the history of Galveston Island.

Golfing, bay fishing and spa packages are available, too.
